For the curious...

Some of you may be wondering "Hmm, how did this couple meet?"
Well, the funny thing is, we don't know!
We estimate that we met in spring of 2002, but we really aren't certain. We know we met through Clayton, who went to high school with Fred and to SIAST with Jason. We suspect it may have been at Clayton's housewarming party, but are really not sure.

We have photographic evidence that we knew each other on December 31st 2002:
(my goodness, do we look young!)
and we recall that Fred gave Jason a ride to a May Long Weekend camping trip in 2003, but we really have no idea when we first met!

If you know how we met, you should tell us! Whether you know the real story, or would like to make one up, email your theory on how we met to landjberry@gmail.com. If you keep it G-rated, we might even post it on here for others to see.

First Update

Wedding planning is coming along quite nicely!
We have a place to get married, someone to marry us, Fred has a dress and Jason has a suit. Even if everything else goes wrong, we'll still be married at the end of the day on November 22 2008 and we'll look good while we do it!

We're looking forward to celebrating with our friends and family on Sunday November 23 from 1 to 5, at a come-and-go reception at our home. Click here for a map to 7-111 St Lawrence Crescent, Saskatoon.
Anyone in need of a place to stay can get our wedding rate at the Saskatoon Inn. If you think you might stay there, let us know and we'll give you the information you need to book your room.

Engagement!

On April 26th, an otherwise typical Saturday, Lindsay (also known as Fred) and Jason headed to Birks in downtown Saskatoon to pick up their engagement ring...
We picked up Aaron (Jason's 9 year old son) later that day and the guys had the following conversation:
Jason: "Do you know what it means when a guy gives a girl a diamond ring?"
Aaron: "Um... Maybe it means for happiness?"
Jason: "Yup! Do you know what else?"
Aaron: "Hmm... For friendship?"
Jason: "Yeah, that too! Anything else?"
Aaron: "Maybe that they might get married?"
We really like Aaron's version of what an engagement ring means and wanted to share it with you all.

We have tentatively chosen November 22nd for a private ceremony and November 23rd for celebrating with family and friends at our home. Over the upcoming weeks and months we will have more information and stories to share with you, but in the meantime, we have lots of work to do!
